I understand why photographs are important.
When growing up and now as a grown-up (sort of!) photographs have always played a big part- they've been the recording of a moment in time never to be repeated.
When I became a professional photographer over 10 years ago this was what was motivating every shot I took.... and it's the same still today.
Who am I? Where did I come from?
Away from the camera and the computer I'm Michael or known to most as 'Micky'- I'm husband to Emma and Dad to Albert (pictured on holiday with me many moons ago). I took up photography a long time ago and for many years would be the geeky enthusiast pointing a camera at everyone. My hobby evolved and eventually became something I was lucky enough to call 'My job'- here I am many years later.
My style?
Well it's very difficult to say- But what I would explain is my approach. I'm a good communicator and definitely a people person, this goes hand in hand with how I approach my work. I get to know the client, the subject and the brief- I read the room and this allows me to get the job done with the minimum of fuss, in turn this produces a very relaxed and natural style of photography.
